Love match for Jim and Jenny at US Open

While tennis sensation Roger Federer was racking up some winning ball points during the US Open's Men's semifinals, the score courtside remained firmly love all. Jim Carrey and girlfriend Jenny McCarthy only had eyes for each other during the game.

The hot couple have, in the past, been coy about revealing their feelings for one another but there was no such sign of shyness during Saturday's match. Gorgeous Scary Movie 3 actress Jenny and her 44-year-old beau shared tender glances and held hands for much of the on-court action. The lovebirds were only briefly separated when the Bruce Almighty star took to centre court to hit a ball to a delighted crowd.

Canadian Jim, who has been married twice before, revealed he was seeing "someone cool" back in December last year. Since then he and his covergirl love have shared a series of romantic dates including a helicopter ride and Radiohead concert. "Our dynamic is great. I'm very, very happy. It's a lot of laughing," Jenny told People magazine in August.

Jenny wasn't the only blonde bombshell turning heads at the tennis championship over the weekend. Known for her fashion-savvy, Russian star Maria Sharapova was glamorous in a black Nike outfit with beaded crystal detail - more akin to a cocktail dress - as she emerged victorious, taking the prestigious women's title.

Hard training has paid off for the stunning teen who went on to celebrate her second grand-slam win after victory over Belgian opponent Justine Jenin-Hardenne - two years after she won her first major championship at Wimbledon. The willowy 19-year-old, who has a number of lucrative modelling deals worth a reported $19million, was clearly thrilled by her win but maintained she hasn't changed despite her success. "At the end of the day, no matter how much money I'm making, what I've done in my career, no matter what cool cars or house I have, I'm still Maria," she said. "I'm still a normal girl."
