In a recent interview, the star reported using a mixture of honey and salt to keep her skin smooth, apples or strawberries to keep her teeth bright, and honey and beer to condition her hair.
While we applaud the use of Mother Nature's finest to supplement our beauty routines, we're a little concerned about Catherine's DIY exfoliator – because salt is rough edged, it can scratch and damage the skin. It is far better to use oatmeal.
And the smell of beer can really linger on hair. A quick splash with vinegar is a useful shine booster - its acidity helps close down the cuticles of the hair for a sleek surface - that doesn't reek quite so headily.
Catherine seems to have done her research on her tooth brighteners, though, claiming: "The juice or pulp of strawberries contains malic acid which serves as an astringent and can lighten surface stains. Pineapples work the same way," she added. Sounds perfect for those cherry lips of hers.
