The mum of four, 40, revealed that she takes a staggering 60 vitamins and supplements every day.
"Twenty-two amino acids, 12 vitamins, 28 minerals," she told Vogue of her daily routine. "And please don't write that I'm completely mad!
She continued: "I need a lot of energy to be buzzing about!"
Famed for her glamorous style, the former Spice Girl shocked fans when she appeared on the cover of Vogue wearing a baggy jumper, Wellington boots and a dishevelled updo.
Tina Outen, the hairstylist who created the chic look described Victoria as 'awesome fun'.
"Victoria knows her face very well so she knows what suits her, but she's very respectful and trusting," she told Vogue.co.uk.
"She lets you do your job."
She added: "The hair for the other cover was literally created by her getting dressed, getting her hair caught in the coat and us pulling pieces out and giving it a bit of a finish. That's how we approached the hair for all of the shots – we just got the texture right, all looked at it in the mirror and then we just let it evolve."
In the accompanying interview, Victoria also opened up about her shopping habits. "I like going to the supermarket myself," she revealed.
"I am not saying I go all the time, but then, you know exactly what you are going to get."
Speaking about her family's food preference, Victoria said that former footballer husband David likes M&S éclairs, she herself likes white cherries and her sons love sponge pudding with custard – though it must be "Ambrosia, no other".
