The gorgeous ceremony in 2011 was broadcast around the world, as thousands gathered outside Westminster Abbey and along the procession route while others gazed at the screens set up throughout the country at street parties, or simply watched from the comfort of their own homes.
Three years on, Prince William has been preparing for further royal duties, as in 2013 he left his post as a search and rescue pilot with the Royal Air Force.
As Queen Elizabeth has officially began to hand over more royal duties, the 31-year-old recently returned to the UK with his family following a hugely successful Royal Tour of New Zealand and Australia.

But as Prince William celebrated an anniversary with his wife and nine-month-old son Prince George, Harry was spending time planning a party for his charity Sentable as it was revealed that his two year relationship with Cressida Bonas had ended.
The split was unexpected as many royal fans believed an engagement was on the cards as Cressida and Harry had begun to attend many events together publicly over the last month.
Prince Harry, 29, has now began to throw himself into his chosen charities, making plans for a fun-filled 10th birthday party for Sentable.
And early in 2014 Prince Harry quit his job as an Army Air Corp helicopter pilot amid plans to spearhead an ambitious attempt to bring the injured servicemen's "Olympics", known as the Warrior Games in the US, to London.
