Prince George's first meeting with his little cousin Mia turned out to be a very messy affair. The future King turned the playdate into a food fight, during an encounter Mia's dad Mike Tindall described as "carnage".
The rugby star told the Mirror that he and wife Zara Phillips took their daughter to Highgrove to meet George and his parents Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton.

"I don’t think Mia will remember that day, she was two months old, but it was great, it was carnage," he said, speaking at his charity golf tournament, Celebrity Golf Classic.

"George was eating at the time. He’d got to that stage where more food goes on the table than in his mouth.
"Mia was just chilling and sleeping, she sleeps a lot, she’s quite relaxed."

Due to their parents' packed schedules, the meeting was the only time the royal cousins have met.
When asked if he has discussed parenting with William, Mike replied: "He’s too busy, we don’t see him very often, he’s so busy but I’m sure when we have a proper catch-up we might do."
The sportsman also revealed how much he and Zara were enjoying being parents. "Once you get to four months and they start smiling at you, when you get interaction your bonds grow more and more," he said.
“Like this morning I was playing with her and she smiles if you do something funny and it makes you feel good about yourself.”
