Former The Only Way Is Essex star Mark Wright has confessed he “completely” changed his behaviour for fiancée Michelle Keegan.
The 27-year-old reality star is busy promoting his latest TV show Party Wright Around The World, where he travels the globe having fun with locals.
However during filming for the ITV2 programme, the Londoner couldn’t bear to be without his Coronation Street actress partner.
"In the past I have lived like a lot of young boys – meeting a lot of people and having a fun time, but the moment I met Michelle I was a completely different man," he confessed to the Daily Mirror newspaper.
Mark added that the 26-year-old expected him to be a challenge after watching his antics on TOWIE. But he somewhat surprised himself when he began a romance with Michelle.
"In the beginning Michelle did say to me, 'I imagined you would be different'," he continued. "The moment I met her I was completely different."
Mark's latest screen offering hits screens this evening at 9pm and he revealed he took a week off just to pop the question. His love jetted to the United Arab Emirates and he was delighted when she accepted his offer of marriage.
"I couldn’t be away from her for that long, so I thought I'm going to get on this flight and propose," Mark shared about his lonely travels. “I flew Michelle to Dubai and that’s where I told her I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her.
"I've got now, for the first time in my life, what I’ve always wanted and what every boy dreams of – affection in a relationship, love, best friend, a girl I fancy… everything rolled into one."
Michelle was previously in a long-term relationship with Max George from boy band The Wanted and Mark has been linked with various ladies since splitting from fellow TOWIE star Lauren Goodger. Still, Mark and Michelle feel their partnership is worth it, despite a hectic schedule.
"Michelle had just come out of a relationship," he pondered about their unexpected union, adding about the challenges to a seamless romance: "We both lived far away from each other and had different jobs."
