It comes as little surprise then that when asked which celebrity homes they would most like to look around, the great British public voted in their droves for the Duchess of Cambridge.
Out of the 3,000 people surveyed, 15 per cent said they would most like to see inside Kate's home, which many believed would be a perfect reflection of her relaxed, classic style.
No doubt many would also jump at the chance to see inside little Prince George's nursery, which is believed to have been themed around the classic children's stories by Beatrix Potter and features the likes of Peter Rabbit, Mrs Tiggy-Winkle and Jemima Puddle-duck.
In second place was Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton with one in ten intrigued to see behind the doors of the eccentric couple's home. Third was David and Victoria Beckham. Given fashion designer Victoria's impeccable sense of style, the chance to see inside the home she shares with her husband and four family proved to be irresistible to eight per cent of respondents.
Fourth and fifth place went to Stella McCartney and Sir Elton John respectively, with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie voted into sixth.
Formula 1 ace Lewis Hamilton, who recently split from his long-term love Nicole Scherzinger, raced into seventh position ahead of X Factor mogul Simon Cowell. And rounding up the top ten in the poll, which was conducted by HomeSense, were Holly Willoughby and Cheryl Cole.
