Princess Madeleine shares adorable photo of her 'sweet pumpkin' Leonore ahead of Halloween

Princess Madeleine of Sweden and her seven-month-old daughter Princess Leonore have been getting into the spirit of Halloween.

The Swedish royal shared a cute snap, which shows her little one sitting beside a pumpkin atop a pile of hay. she captioned it: "Sweet Pumpkins!"

Royal watchers will have noted how much little Leonore has grown – the gorgeous tot is sitting up by herself, playing happily with hay.

Dressed in a pink cardigan, grey leggings and fashion-forward leopard-print trainers with a bow on her head, the little royal looks cute as a button.

The photo is likely to have been taken a few days ago, when Madeleine, 32, went pumpkin picking. She shared a picture that would delight Halloween-lovers, of a field filled with pumpkins.

When she hasn't been getting into the spirit of Halloween and doting on her daughter, Madeleine has been busy working on the campaign she spearheads – ThankYou by Childhood – which raises awareness of the abuse and exploitation of children.

She attended the Global Citizen Festival in September in New York, along with her mother Queen Silvia, who gave a public talk at the event.

The mother and daughter were also reunited last month in Sweden, when Madeleine posted a photo of her daughter Leonore hanging out with her cousin Princess Estelle.

The two-and-a-half-year-old wrapped her protective arms around baby Leonore as she grinned for the photo that Madeleine captioned "Precious moments".

The baby duo don't get to spend much time together given that they live on opposite sides of the Atlantic – Madeleine has been living in New York City with her businessman husband Chris for around four years. The couple welcomed their firstborn Leonore on 20 February 2014.
