Harry returning to the US to receive special humanitarian award

Last time he was in the US, ladies were swooning in his path.Then he wowed as he hugged his way around the Caribbean. And now Prince Harry is set to impress when he reappears on the global stage on Monday.The 27-year-old will be in Washington DC to receive the Atlantic Council's Award for Distinguished Humanitarian Leadership.

Harry is a serving captain in the British Army and supports Help for Heroes and The Soldier’s Charity.In March 2011, the Queen's grandson spent four days trekking to the North Pole with injured servicemen who were raising money for the Walking With The Wounded charity, of which he is a patron.While their chief supporter is in America, the veterans are in the spotlight again this week as they set out to scale Mount Everest.They aim to raise over £2m to re-skill and re-train injured members of the British Armed Forces.Leave your messages of support for these inspirational guys here.
