Pamela Anderson

One of the most famous faces to have taken to the ice is undoubtedly Pamela Anderson. The American actress and pin-up took part in the 2013 series of the show, competing against the likes of Anthea Turner, Shayne Ward, Keith Chegwin and Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle, who went on to win.

Unfortunately for Pamela, her time on the show came to an abrupt end. She was the first competitor to leave the series, after stumbling during her skate-off against Keith.

Corey Feldman

Another surprising celebrity signing to the show was Lost Boys actor Corey Feldman. The 46-year-old American star competed in the 2012 series, alongside the likes of EastEnders actress Laila Morse, Heidi Range, Jennifer Ellison and eventual winner Matthew Wolfenden.

Corey was fourth to leave the competition after losing out in a skate-off with Dallas actress Charlene Tilton. Speaking about his time on the show, he said: "It's been a lot of fun, a tremendous experience. I love London, so any excuse."

The singer was the sixth contestant to be eliminated from the competition after going head-to-head with Laura Hamilton in the skate-off. Gracious in his defeat, he thanked both their judges and the viewers for "a great adventure".

Bonnie Langford

Bonnie Langford was one of the original Dancing on Ice stars, having competed in the very first series of the show, back in 2006. The age-defying actress, then nearly 50, wowed the audience and judges with her energy and flexibility, and went on to come third in the competition, behind Stefan Booth and Gaynor Faye.

Stephen Gately

Late Boyzone star Stephen Gately took part in the second series of the show, back in 2007. Stephen was voted off the show after a skate-off with former footballer Lee Sharpe, but admitted he had loved every second of the competition. "It's been an absolutely amazing experience," he said at the time.

"Can I just say, everyone who works on the show, the judges, and all the people who voted for me, thank you so much. I've had a blast." Tragically, Stephen passed away two years later, in October 2009, at the age of 33.

Also taking part in the 2007 series was Australian soap star Emily Symons. Emily - best known for playing Marilyn in Home and Away, and Louise Appleton in Emmerdale – came fourth in the competition, after losing out in a skate-off with Blue star Duncan James. The show was eventually won by former rugby player Kyran Bracken.
