The book is full of interesting, quirky anecdotes including stories from his Hammersmith houseboat and his recipes for various occasions with charming, inviting titles such as ‘A Ligurian supper for friends, who would prefer to be on holiday but have to work’ and ‘A foggy breakfast wrapped up on the deck”. Each chapter also includes a masterclass focused on a single ingredient that is both useful and informative.
Stevie now runs his own restaurant, The Moveable Kitchen, in London.
